WATCH: Mario Batali Makes An Epic Fettucine Alfredo On 'Fallon'

You know what's better than fettucine alfredo? Fettucine alfredo made in a carved out wheel of Parmigiano-Reggiano. Mario Batali stopped by "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" last night to demonstrate the rather simple recipe (well, simple if you find yourself in possession of a seriously huge hunk of cheese). You know what else makes Batali's recipe so great? The fact that he heated some grappa at the bottom of the cheese wheel, all while drinking an Aperol Spritz. Hey Mario -- anytime you want to invite us over for dinner, we're in.

The two also chatted about the Batali family's Christmas plans, which consists of a feast of three fishes, one of them being eel made in the Spanish tradition.
