'Hawaii Five-0' Choose Your Own Ending: Viewers Can Vote For How Episode Will Conclude

'Hawaii Five-0' To Let Viewers Pick Ending

"Hawaii Five-0" will let viewers choose the ending for an upcoming episode.

Viewers will be able to vote for one of three culprits in the Monday, January 14 episode of the CBS procedural drama. Based on the votes, which can be submitted via Twitter and CBS.com, the ending will be selected in real-time and aired. East Coast/Central and West Coast broadcasts will each get their own endings.

“I've always felt the most fun aspect of watching a mystery is trying to figure out 'whodunit,'" Peter Lenkov, "Hawaii Five-0" executive producer said in a statement. "Now the 'Hawaii Five-0' viewers will actually get the chance to tell us who they think committed the crime and we will listen. I love that our dedicated and attentive fans will actually play a part in resolving our story."

The episode follows the investigation of the death of an O'ahu State University professor. His boss, teaching assistant and student are possible suspects. After each suspect's motive is revealed, viewers can go on CBS.com or Twitter to select whether #theBoss, #theTA or #thestudent committed the crime. The votes will be tallied immediately and the ending with the most votes will air. All three endings will be available on CBS.com after the East and West Coast broadcasts.
