Lauren Block, Stripper, Falls 15 Feet From Balcony During Lap Dance

Stripper Falls 15 Feet During Lap Dance

An exotic dancer in Cleveland is in critical condition after falling off a 15-foot balcony while giving a lap dance to a customer.

The accident happened early Wednesday morning at Christie's Cabaret when Lauren Block, a 22-year-old stripper employed at the club was giving a private lap dance to Pasquale Storino, 25, according to the New York Daily News.

At one point during her dance, Block attempted an elaborate series of moves on Storino and, in the process, fell headfirst over a rail and suffered “major head trauma,” according to a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun.

Block was lying on the floor of the club when police and paramedics arrived, according to ABC News. She was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where she remained in critical condition.

Ashley Roach, Block's former co-worker, is still trying to wrap her brain around Block's bizarre injury.

"It's mind boggling honestly, 'cause I never, you never heard about that, you hear about girls falling off the poles because they don't grab hard enough, those are just common things, but not over a railing," she said, according to KSDK.com.

Investigators say Block's fall was an accident, but the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or "OSHA" says it will look into the incident, according to KSDK.com.
