With a career spanning several decades, there is little that Judi Dench hasn't done. Theater, television, movies. Check. Appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire, check. With a few dozen awards under her belt (including a couple Golden Globes and some Emmys), appearances in hit films like "Shakespeare In Love" and "GoldenEye" and a legion of loyal fans, it's no wonder that Dame Judi Dench has become somewhat of an icon. Although her onscreen performances have garnered her a lot of attention in Hollywood, her fashion choices deserve some credit too. Much like the actress herself, her looks were always classic, elegant and glamourous.
In this 1968 photograph, we see a 34-year-old Dench clad in a Christian Dior beret. Although this type of hat can be tricky to wear, her pixie haircut does it more than justice. The English star paired it with a very sixties coat, tons of mascara and matte foundation, rendering her skin look flawless. Dame, she looks good.
