Big Dipper, Queer Rapper, Releases Raunchy Debut EP

Chicago-based queer rapper Big Dipper is ready for the big leagues -- and maybe, just maybe his big break.

On Tuesday, Big Dipper, a HuffPost favorite, released his debut EP titled "They Aint Ready." The six-track album, available for free download from the B.D.'s website, was produced by Dan Foley and features tracks including "Summertime Realness," "Meat Quotient" (NSFW, embedded below) and his big-time YouTube hit "Drip Drop."

Previously heralded by Details magazine as one of hip-hop's "queer pioneers," Big Dipper spoke with HuffPost last year about his "bear rap."

"There's something about comedy, performance and storytelling that I've always been really invested in, but to put a spin on the sexuality and the parody has been my main focus with Big Dipper," he said last January. "I try to put together something smart and funny, but also shocking and sexual."

Big Dipper last month headlined a show at the Empty Bottle and Salonathon's "You're Gonna Die" party at the Metro in Chicago.
