A River Runs Through A Home, And It's Totally OK (PHOTO)

...and it's okay!

We’ve seen indoor pools before but one homeowner apparently didn’t think that was cool enough.

Redditor dittidot posted an awesome photo of a river running inside a house, within the floors. There is what appears to be a transparent layer of acrylic over the water so you can walk directly over it while peering down into the rocky stream, making this quite possibly the most unexpected design feature we’ve ever seen.

Interestingly, the Reddit conversation quickly turned from interiors to Dell computer profits after user ptgkbgte, who supposedly worked on Michael Dell’s vacation house, started talking about the company owner's design plans. Apparently, he had a similar Koi pond wrapped around his entire home until "he decided to rip out about $50k worth of the pond and put in an extra structure containing his theatre,” said the Redditor.

Regardless, of Dell’s vacation abode, this house is definitely a work of art, but tell us: would you want a home with a body of water inside of it?
