'ER' Reunion On The Golden Globes Red Carpet: George Clooney, Julianna Margulies Hug (VIDEO)

It was an "ER" reunion for George Clooney and Julianna Margulies on the Golden Globes E! red carpet, as the former co-stars bumped into each other while switching interviews.

As Margulies and Clooney shared a warm embrace, Ryan Seacrest couldn't let the serendipitous moment pass without commenting on it. “George Clooney. Oh, it’s an 'ER' flashback."

Clooney took the mic and assumed the role of interviewer. “Do you want me to take the mic? When did you two meet?” Seacrest, speaking for the pair, replied, “It was many years ago on the NBC lot.”

Both Clooney and Margulies left "ER" after its sixth season in 2000. The medical drama launched Clooney's career as a movie star, while Margulies, who famously turned down a $27 million offer to stay on, has gone on to star in the CBS drama "The Good Wife."

E!’s official Twitter called the moment “aw” worthy. Tweeters thought so, too -- calling it the moment of the red carpet.
