Julianne Moore won at the Golden Globes for Best Actress in a Miniseries.

Moore took home the award for her portrayal of Sarah Palin in HBO's "Game Change." She beat out Nicole Kidman, Jessica Lange, Sienna Miller and Sigourney Weaver.

"My children will be so relieved!" Moore said in her acceptance speech. The actress also thanked Tina Fey, who portrayed the politician on "Saturday Night Live," and talk show host Katie Couric.

Three-time Globe winner Kate Winslet took home the award last year for her performance in HBO's "Mildred Pierce."

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are hosting the 2013 Golden Globe awards, which are being held in Beverly Hills.
