Outgoing Chair of Arts Council England, Dame Liz Forgan, made the most of her final duty at an event at the British Museum last night as she called for investment in the arts.
The event, which cost £8,130 of taxpayers' money, was held in the Egyptian Sculpture Gallery at the British Museum. Attendees included BBC director-general Tony Hall and Sir Peter Bazalgette, Forgan's successor.
