'True Blood' Season 6 Adds Jurnee Smollett And More Casting News

Look Who's Shaking Up 'True Blood'

"Friday Night Lights" alum Jurnee Smollett has joined the vamp-y HBO drama as a series regular and "90210's" Amelia Rose Blaire will recur in Season 6, TVLine reports.

On "True Blood," Smollett -- who also famously played Michelle Tanner's best friend Denise on "Full House" -- will play optimist Nicole. According to TVLine, Nicole is concerned with doing the right thing versus doing something for compensation.

Elsewhere on "True Blood" Season 6, Blaire will portray Willa, Louisiana Governor Truman Burrell's (Arliss Howard) daugther, who disagrees with her father over vampire rights, according to TVLine.
