Jake Tapper Makes CNN Debut

Jake Tapper made his CNN debut on Tuesday.

The former ABC White House correspondent appeared on "The Situation Room" to talk about Hillary Clinton's upcoming testimony before the Senate, as well as his new role as CNN's chief Washington correspondent. Later in the year, Tapper will become the host of his own show on the network.

Tapper told Wolf Blitzer that he has been "gearing up" and spending "a lot of time" with his children during his month off, as well as preparing a reunion to some of the people he profiled in his recent book, "The Outpost."

Blitzer told him to "work hard and play by the rules."
