Lauren Leibowitz, HuffPost Style Intern, Gets Vintage Makeover Inspired By Jane Birkin (PHOTOS)

It was easy, we swear!

Jane Birkin is one of our favorite muses of all time. The English actress was practically the reason the term "It-girl" was coined, and everything about her exudes cool. The '60s style icon had everyone talking over her infamous relationship with mysterious French singer Serge Gainsbourg, then went and had one of the most coveted bags in the world named after her. Birkin also has had her fair share of accolades, including an OBE from the Prince of Wales -- and that doesn't even begin to cover all the things she's done in her lifetime.

Earlier this week, we came across a stunning portrait of the outspoken activist, and we couldn't stop staring. Her beautiful doe eyes had us mesmerized, as did her dewy skin. Though it would be hard to channel her (she was alluring because of her looks and her charm), we thought we could at least replicate her flawless makeup.

Click through the slideshow below to see how we gave our HuffPost Style intern, Lauren Leibowitz, a Jane Birkin inspired makeover -- and find out tips and tricks on how you can easily achieve the look at home.
