Dave Armstrong, Gay Florida Man, Made To Move Pride Flag To Back Of Property

Gay Man Says He Was Forced To Remove Rainbow Flag From Property

A Florida-based gay man says he's been asked to display his rainbow flag in the back of his property after it was removed.

Dave Armstrong tells WPBF, "I think we're being discriminated against because we're a gay couple [who] live there."

After the Boynton Beach resident was told by his roommate that the flag had been removed from the front of his property, he says he called his landlord: "I said, 'Listen, everybody else has an American flag on the front of their property, so why can't I have my pride flag right out here?'"

The station says Armstrong plans to talk to an attorney about the situation, although his landlord has dismissed the claims, saying he's just trying to disrupt the community.
