Fan Catches Puck In His Beer At Boston Bruins Game (VIDEO)

WATCH: Fan Catches Puck... With His Beer

A Boston Bruins fan received some unexpected attention Monday night when a flying hockey puck landed in his beer.

The puck was sent flying out of play during the game against the Winnipeg Jets when Bruins center Tyler Seguin (No. 19) shot the puck over the glass barrier. The play happened so quickly that the announcers didn't know where the puck landed until some of the crowd reacted with a standing ovation.

In a video clip from the game, the fan is seen fishing the wet puck out of his half-empty beer.

"What are the chances of that?" one of the announcers wonders.

While the chances are pretty slim, it's not the first time a hockey enthusiast has caught a puck with a beer. In a 2010 Southern Professional Hockey League game, a puck fell into a fan's beer after it was deflected into the netting during a face-off.
