Why, Why Manti? Te'o's Interview With Katie Couric Gets Auto-Tuned (VIDEO)

Why, Why Manti? Te'o Interview Gets Auto-Tuned

There is a catchy new addition to the growing genre of Manti Te'o hoax parodies.

Te'o's interview with Katie Couric -- when he discussed how his late girlfriend Lennay Kekua never actually existed -- got auto-tuned by the four Gregory Brothers.

While the Notre Dame linebacker insisted that he was a victim of a hoax, the doubting chorus by Couric suggests that not everyone was convinced by his answers

Couric sings, "Why, Why Manti?"

Te'o's father, Brian, got his own rap solo in this song and there was even an Al Roker reference worked in. The song is capped perfectly with this exchange:

Couric: "That just really doesn't make sense to me."

Te'o: "It doesn't make sense to me either at this point."

One can only imagine what the auto-tuned version of Dr. Phil's upcoming interview with alleged hoax perpetrator Ronaiah Tuiasosopo will sound like.
