Jay-Z Signs Timbaland To Roc Nation Label

Hova Puts On His 'Suit & Tie' To Sign Timbo

In spite of their rumored beef in recent years, Jay-Z and Timbaland have reportedly set their differences aside for their latest business venture.

According to a post on the hip-hop mogul’s website, Life + Times, the longtime collaborators have further extended their musical relationship with Jay-Z signing the world-renowned hit-maker to his Roc Nation label.

While details surrounding the deal are still unclear, the announcement comes on the heels of the pair’s latest collaboration -- Justin Timberlake’s catchy new single, “Suit & Tie,” -- and Timbo’s recent investment with 50 Cent’s electronic company, SMS Audio.

“50 Cent has created an aspirational audio brand that produces the highest caliber of headphones on the market,” said Timbaland in a statement. “I’m looking forward to working with 50 and being part of a company so eager to bring studio-quality sound to music fans all over the world."
