Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has added another section to his ever-growing portfolio of business ventures, this time the rapper-turned-entrepreneur is diving into animation.

According to Deadline, Jackson is currently in negotiations with producer Randall Emmett, 20th Century Fox TV and Imagine TV to produce an animated comedy series loosely based on the rapper’s childhood.

The developing series, written by Carl Jones, is among the various projects that Jackson and Emmett have partnered on. In addition to collaborating on the mogul’s film company, Cheetah Vision, the pair is also in the process of executive-producing the forthcoming Starz drama, “Power.”

The announcement of the as-yet-untitled animated series comes a month following the release of 50 Cent’s debut fitness book, “Formula 50.”
