Obama CBS Interview Takes Place Ahead Of Super Bowl XLVII

President Barack Obama spoke with CBS News' Scott Pelley ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl game between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers, covering topics like the economy and football player safety.

"It's going to be a great game, I've got some wings waiting for me upstairs," Obama said.

White House spokesman Jay Carney said Friday that the president would watch the big game "with interest," but that Obama wished the Chicago Bears were playing.

Obama has sat down with someone from the network airing the Super Bowl every year. Past interviewers include Katie Couric and Bill O'Reilly.
