Scott Pelley of CBS News sat down with President Barack Obama ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers.
During the live interview, Obama addressed the economy and the looming debt ceiling fight.
"Washington cannot continually operate under a cloud of crisis," Obama said.
"We can't afford these self-inflicted wounds," Obama continued.
Obama has granted an interview to the network airing the Super Bowl every year, with past interviewers including Katie Couric and Bill O'Reilly.
