Scott Brown: Congress Is 'Dysfunctional And Extremely Partisan"

In his debut as Fox News contributor on Wednesday, former Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) called Congress "really dysfunctional and extremely patisan."

Brown told Fox News's Sean Hannity that he had no interest in participating in Congress:

"It is the people's seat, as you remember, and to do five races in six years and raise another $30 to $50 million dollars and then go participate in a Congress that's really dysfunctional and extremely partisan, I thought I could make a difference being on this show and doing other things and plan to stay involved certainly, but I am going to continue to work and be a part of the election process back home and other elections throughout the country."

Brown joined Fox News's "Hannity" in February, not long after the network parted ways with former Republican vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin in January.

Brown lost his Senate seat to Elizabeth Warren in November. Brown announced in February that he would not make a bid in the Mass. special election to replace Secretary of State John Kerry's recently vacated Senate seat.

Though Brown will not run for Senate, he is still weighing his options for next year, according to CNN.

"I'm going to see what happens," Brown said in a visit to Amherst College in Amherst, Mass. "I know there are a lot of good candidates looking at it."
