Oak Park -- After 68 years of civic sobriety, Oak Park may be on the verge of issuing tavern licenses for the sale of beer and wine in the city's restaurants.

Residents originally voted to make the Oakland County city dry back in 1945 but that could change when the City Council takes up the question again on March 4.
