Santos Barillas Allegedly Left Toddler In Strip Club Parking Lot, Faces Child Endangerment Charges

WATCH: Worst Dad Ever Leaves Toddler In Strip Club Parking Lot

A Southern California father is in hot water after he allegedly left his toddler in the near-freezing parking lot of a strip club.

Santos Barillas, 24, is accused of leaving his two-year-old daughter in the back of his truck Saturday night while he partied at Club 7557, an adult entertainment club in Van Nuys, Calif.

When authorities arrived on the scene, they found Barillas asleep in the front seat with his child in the back seat. Through interviews with other patrons, officials determined that Barillas had been partying inside Club 7557 without his child, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Barillas, who was allegedly intoxicated when arrested, faces child endangerment charges, reports KTLA.

He remained in jail Sunday in lieu of $15,000 bail and will face court Mar. 20. Child Protective Services is caring for Barillas' daughter.

Accusations against Barillas echo a similar story from earlier this year in Daytona Beach, Fla. In January, Kenneth Rowe, 26, allegedly asked a liquor store clerk to watch his 11-month-old son while he spent time at the Shark Lounge Gentleman's club. When Rowe left, the clerk then called police. Rowe was charged with child neglect.
