This past weekend, rumors were swirling that "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara had been hospitalized and was undergoing surgery; however, it turns out the actress was simply at home with the flu.
On Sunday, a source close to the actress assured HuffPost Celebrity that 40-year-old star was not in the hospital and was "totally fine," and the actress herself even took to Twitter to calm down her fans.

"Watching the Oscars at home so I dont give everyone the flu haha!" she tweeted along with a less-than-glamourous photo of herself recovering in bed.
The actress, who is known for her head-turning style on the red carpet, had to miss out on all the Oscar night festivities, but should be back on her feet in no time.
