Wayne State University has reached a tentative eight-year agreement with the local chapter of the American Association of University Professors, which will bring the proposal to a rank-and-file vote of the union next week.
Negotiators for the university and the AAUP-American Federation of Teachers Local 6075, who have been in bargaining talks since early last year to renew a contract that lapsed July 31, reached an agreement today and expect to have a ratification vote March 6.
