The CW Reboots 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?'

The CW is rebooting "Whose Line Is It Anyway?", the network announced Friday.

Comedian and "The Talk" co-host Aisha Tyler will replace former host Drew Carey.

"Whose Line Is It Anyway?" veterans Wayne Brady, Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie will be returning to the improvisational comedy show, which will feature the panel and one additional guest performer per week "put[ting] their comedic skills to the test through a series of spontaneous improv games."

The CW did not announce when the show will premiere.

The American version of "Whose Line Is It Anyway," which was based on the original UK format, aired for eight seasons on ABC from 1998-2004.
