Jennifer Capriati Allegedly Hit Ex-Boyfriend At Gym, Leading Police To Seek Arrest Warrant: REPORT

REPORT: Police Seeking Warrant For Jennifer Capriati

Jennifer Capriati, the former wild child of women's tennis, has reportedly landed herself in hot water yet again. Police are reportedly seeking an arrest warrant for the former tennis star after she allegedly hit an ex-boyfriend at a gym in Florida.

Citing a police report, Gossip Extra reported on Friday that Capriati allegedly struck her ex-boyfriend, Ivan Brannan, outside the men's locker room at the Oxygen Health and Fitness Gym. According to the report, the North Palm Beach Police were seeking an arrest warrant for 36-year-old former tennis star.

Refuting this report, Capriati's lawyer released a statement obtained by the New York Daily News:

"There is no arrest warrant for Jennifer Capriati. The case between Ms. Capriati and Mr. Ivan Brannan has not yet been assigned in Palm Beach County and has not been reviewed. The current facts being circulated by Mr. Brannan are an over exaggeration and the police report is one-sided in Mr. Brannan’s favor since they failed to get Ms. Capriati’s side of the story."

Inducted into the Tennis Hall Of Fame in July 2012, Capriati won three Grand Slams and an Olympic gold medal. A teen prodigy, her roller-coaster career included periodic off-court distractions, including arrests for shoplifting and marijuana possession.
