'Amazing Race': Eliminated With An Express Pass?

Much is made about those poor "Survivor" contestants who've been voted out of the game while holding onto a Hidden Immunity Idol. "The Amazing Race" had no equivalent boneheaded move until this week. Jessica & John were strong front-runners, having picked up an Express Pass by winning the first leg of the race. This week, Jessica wondered time and again if they should use it.

But as they fell further and further from the front of the pack, John kept insisting that it simply made no sense to use it. Believe it or not, he kept up that attitude until they were the last team still competing, and still was determined to finish out the last task without even using the Express Pass to simply end the leg.

After waiting for hours, they finally finished the task and arrived at the mat. Phil was stunned by what he'd just witnessed. "I think you might be the first team in ‘Amazing Race’ history who has been eliminated with an Express Pass on the mat," he told them.

Still unfazed by the decision, John said that he had "absolutely zero regret" about the decision. Jessica, on the other hand, said she had plenty and would be thinking about this for a long time.

On the opposite end of the night, Dave and Connor inexplicably won their second leg in a row -- all since Dave seriously injured his Achilles tendon. How far will they go? Even they don't seem to know.

"The Amazing Race" continues on Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
