We appreciate the new and innovative products that have been introduced to the market every year that make cooking, cleaning and doing other tasks around the house a little easier, or in some cases, kinda fun. So of course we were excited to get a peek at a few of the weird gadgets that debuted at the 2013 International Home and Housewares Show.
While some of them seem a little silly (who needs a toaster cover with dancing people on it?), there are a few items we imagine could be very useful for solving some of our common issues at home. For example:
PROBLEM: There's dog poop all over the yard, and you're really not looking forward to picking it up.
SOLUTION: Try the new Pooch Power System, a vacuum that sucks up pet waste.
PROBLEM: You're cleaning up after a dinner party, but don't have an extra hand for a garbage pail.
SOLUTION: Hang the Trash-Ease, a clip that will cling to any table or counter edge, and holds a trash bag open for easy use.
H/T to Money Watch for pointing out these remarkable products and more. And click through the slideshow below of the best gadgets from this year's Consumer Electronic Show.
