It's March, which in the collegiate world can only mean one thing: SPRING BREAK!
At many schools, students will be heading off-campus for a week sometime before the end of the month, and we here at HuffPost College are envious of those who will soon be lying out on a beach.
Many hotspots are expecting nearly double the number of spring breakers they saw last year, according to Travel Weekly -- even though the cost of traveling has increased 7 to 9 percent this spring break season, according to Travelocity. For airfare, expect to spend an average of $372 if you're flying within the U.S. and $782 if you're going international.
