No. 1 seed Kansas will face No. 16 Western Kentucky in the second round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament in the South region.

Bill Self and his Jayhawks are looking to return to the Final Four a year after losing to Kentucky in the national championship.

The winner in this matchup in Kansas City on March 22 will face the winner of No. 8 North Carolina and No. 9 Villanova in the third round.
