Fan Runs Towards LeBron James On The Court During Heat-Cavs Game (VIDEO)

Fan Runs On Court During Heat-Cavs Game

There seems to be at least one fan in Cleveland who has not only forgiven LeBron James but really, really wants him to return to the Cavs in the summer of 2014.

During the third quarter of Miami's 24th straight win, a fan somehow bypassed the security at Quicken Loans Arena and ran onto the court from the corner near the Cavs' bench. He ran over to James and looked as if he said something to the three-time NBA MVP before continuing on toward the 3-point arc where he was grabbed by a security guard.

The fan's shirt appeared to say "We Miss You" on the front in screen shots of the broadcast captured by Larry Brown Sports. A photo by AP photographer Tony Dejak shows that the back of the fan's shirt was emblazoned with the slogan "2014 Come Back."

Mary Schmitt Boyer of the Cleveland Plain Dealer tweeted that James "patted him on the head" as security escorted him off the court.

LeBron was asked about the incident after the game.

Back in January, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal Online reported that the Cavs might be targeting James when he becomes a free agent in 2014.

Would an incident like this help or hurt such a courtship?
