Fall Out Boy's New Album To Feature Courtney Love & Elton John

Courtney Love To Help Fall Out Boy 'Save Rock And Roll'

Earlier this week, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz asked fans to "guess what blonde hair singer we got on the record," and while some were just praying it wasn't Taylor Swift, no one was expecting it to be Courtney Love.

Yes, Courtney Love is going to help Fall Out Boy "Save Rock and Roll," the band confirmed on Thursday when they tweeted a six-second video proclaiming "It's Courtney, bitch," along with a snippit of a song:

Now, we're not sure what to expect from Fall Out Boy's upcoming album, which is due out April 15/16 worldwide, but it's clear the record is going to have an eclectic group of guests. Billboard notes that Wentz also confirmed that "Save Rock and Roll" would also feature a collaboration with music legend, Elton John -- a rumor that was sparked after the band's singer Patrick Stump posted a photo of himself and John in the studio last week.

Fall Out Boy is no stranger to collaborating with unexpected artists. In the past, the band has worked with Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Elvis Costello, Debbie Harry, Pharrell Williams, and rapper 2 Chainz appears on the band's first single off the new record, "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)."
