Hugging Carrots Video By Ze Frank Reminds Us That Even Veggies Need Love (VIDEO)

When two carrots love each other very much, apparently they'll grow into something quite strange.

Gardening season is upon us. And if you've been looking forward to finally seeing your gorgeous carrots sprout after a long year's wait -- we're right there with you. However, there is a chance you may end up with "mutated" hugging carrots, like the ones in the video above.

We don't know for sure why these veggies twist together, but according to Simply Canning, it may have to do with planting the seeds too close together and hard soil. But whatever the reason, there's no need to be alarmed. As humorist Ze Frank shows us, hugging carrots just want to be loved.

Be sure to watch the hilarious clip above and be reminded that all produce in the garden needs a little tenderness, and check out Ze Frank's YouTube page. And don't forget to click through our slideshow to see delicious carrot recipes. Hat tip to Buzzfeed.
