FX has picked up an adaptation of "Fargo," which is set to premiere in the Spring of 2014.

The Coen Brothers, who directed and wrote the original Oscar-winning film, have signed on to executive produce FX's take on "Fargo." "Bones's" Noah Hawley will write and executive produce the limited series and Warren Littlefield also will executive produce.

There has already been a bit of buzz surrounding FX's "Fargo" and at the network's Upfronts presentation on Thursday morning, FX President John Landgraf said, "I really can't wait to see that one myself. I'm excited about it. It's great."

In Winter 2013, production begins on "Fargo" and FX will debut it in Spring 2014.
