Easily Clean Up Easter Grass By Using Common Household Items (PHOTOS)

And you're left with all that stubborn grass.

If you and your family were paid a visit by the Easter Bunny, chances are you got a basket filled with goodies. It's also likely that your home is now covered in that plastic grass, which looks cute, but makes a mess. For some reason, like tinsel, it's pretty hard to vacuum up, so we went searching around to find the best way to clean up Easter grass-- but it wasn't easy. But our friends over at Real Simple had a great trick that shows us how to clean up glitter, and we think it'll come in handy after all the chocolate is eaten and the eggs are cracked open.

Simply take a lint roller and wipe it along the covered surfaces. The tool should easily pick up any straggling pieces and the area will look as good as new.

You can also try Pop Sugar's trick of wrapping a piece of duct tape around your hand -- sticky side exposed. Then, pat the messy spots with the adhesive.

Both of these ideas will definitely do the trick by saving you a lot of time (and frustration) during Easter clean up.
