Carson Daly's Favorite Video, 'Smack My B-tch Up,' Was Banned From TV

Carson Daly's Controversial Favorite Video

Carson Daly made his name hosting MTV's "TRL" in the late '90s. The gig had Daly playing "Hanson" videos and interviewing the pop elite, including Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys.

Daly's favorite music video, however, is a little grittier.

In a recent interview with TMZ, Daly said that his favorite video is "Smack My B-tch Up," by The Prodigy -- one that never aired on "TRL." "Jonas Åkerlund directed it," he said. "It's one of my favorite videos."

Daly's choice is a controversial one as the scandalous video was largely banned from television. The NSFW video (shown below) was criticized for its depictions of drug use and violence.

Years after its release, "Smack My B-tch Up" was still voted the "most controversial pop song of all time."

Daly has spoken about his love for the electronic group's video before, saying, "I love that video. I’m full of surprises."
