'Revenge': Tragedy Strikes As Another One Of The Good Guys Falls (VIDEO)

The body count continued to rise on "Revenge," and this week's episode wasn't even a season finale. It was an episode of consequences, though, as Nolan tried desperately not to give up hope about Padma. He'd genuinely grown to love her, and had also spent six weeks obsessively trying to find her.

Emily and Aiden stepped in to help, with Aiden tracking Padma while Emily worked the revelation that Victoria had a secret son when she was much younger against her mortal enemy. But while Emily successfully managed to rattle Victoria, Aiden wasn't as successful.

He found Padma, but he was too late to save her. He exacted vengeance -- in a way -- on Nolan's behalf by killing Trask with his bare hands. And here we thought Trask was going to be around for awhile.

The scene where they revealed to Nolan that Padma was dead was particularly heartbreaking, as well as emotional. Nolan admitted that he loved Emily, which is why he needed her to stay and carry out her plan against Victoria. Buddy TV appreciated the sentimental moment, writing, "We know these two are BFFs, but haven't seen this kind of emotion come out. It's nice to see, though unfortunate it's coming from this circumstance."

Wetpaint was ready for the on-screen dynamic duo to take their relationship to the next level, writing, "Ummm, can we forget about Padma and Aiden and bring on the revolution that would be Nemily?!"
