Chris Hayes Ratings: 'All In' Debuts With Steady First Night

Chris Hayes' Ratings Are In

MSNBC's newest primetime host debuted Monday night to steady ratings.

Hayes replaced former 8:00 p.m. host Ed Schultz, who is moving his show to weekends. Hayes previously hosted "Up with Chris" on MSNBC weekend mornings and gained a steady following. Hayes' new primetime show "All In" brought in 859,000 total viewers and 298,000 viewers in the coveted A25-54 demographic.

According to TVNewser, "All In" was up +45 percent in the demo and down -4 percent in total viewers compared to Schultz's Q1 average this time last year.

On Tuesday, MSNBC announced that Democratic consultant Karen Finney will join the network as its newest host with a program on weekends at 4:00 p.m. Her hour-long show will lead into Schultz's expected weekend program that will air from 5-7:00 p.m.
