'Hangover Part 3' Takes The Adventure Pass The Border To Tijuana, Mexico (VIDEO)

The Wolfpack is back Mexican style!

This week, an extended version of the theatrical trailer for “The Hangover Part 3” appeared online and gave us a frenzied glimpse at the final film in the series that gave ‘drinks with the boys’ a whole new meaning. But this time the surely life-threatening adventure crosses the line -- the borderline to Mexico that is.

That’s right, first Vegas, then Thailand, and now the Pack is heading to Tijuana. In the third installment, Mr. Chow’s (Ken Jeong) returns to once again complicate the gang’s plans with his criminal antics, leading to Doug (Justin Bartha) being kidnapped by a crime boss (John Goodman) and the boys needing to head down to the Latin American country to rescue their friend. Last year, however, photos revealed that instead of actually crossing the border, Warner Bros. was recreating downtown Tijuana in Nogales, Arizona. The move left many in the Mexican bordertown feeling a bit snubbed.

It’s hard to say from the trailer how much of the mayhem will occur in “Mexico” or how authentic the location will look on the big screen, but the plot already promises plenty of cockfighting (not necessarily between the animals) and some ‘sugar’ for Chow from Alan (Zach Galifianakis).

And for those nostalgic for the first film, the series comes full circle in the third movie with what seems like plenty of action back in Las Vegas. "The Hangover Part 3" is set to premiere on May 24.
