Anyone who’s followed Jessica Sanchez’ career knows that "Glee" and "American Idol" go together very well. And now, recent Cuban-American castoff Lazaro Arbos is hoping for his own stint at McKinley High.

Speaking with People, the the 22-year-old crooner admitted that he is already being proactive about landing a guest slot.

“My next goal is to get on 'Glee,'” Arbos explained. “I am trying to contact [showrunner] Ryan Murphy. So if he stops by, tell him to call me, so I can be on that show!”

Sadly, Lazaro couldn’t quite make the "A.I." cut last Thursday. But overcoming his stutter made him an inspiration to millions and he’s very excited about continuing to reach fans all over the world.

“My main goal wasn’t to win a TV show,” he added. “My main goal was to get known as an artist and to have people that love to me, and I think I’m one step closer to that.”
