'Undercover Boss': ADT Security Boss Helps Employee Afford Dream Home

ADT Security Services Chief Marketing Officer Tony Wells met service technician Jesus on the latest episode of "Undercover Boss." He found the experience humbling in some ways, telling Security Systems News, "When you do it firsthand you have a greater appreciation ... It's like walking a mile in someone's shoes. The jobs are much harder than they look when you see them at first."

Nevertheless, Tony also saw dedication and commitment to the company, as pointed out by Nerdles. Jesus had been with the company for two years, sacrificing time with his 18-month-old daughter to help make ends meet at home. Jesus said he and his fiance were barely scraping by, and often had to take out cash advance loans to make the rent.

Tony was determined to change Jesus' life, and he did just that at the end of the hour. He gave Jesus $10,000 to start an education fund for his daughter, and another $25,000 to help support the family. Jesus used this to move his family into "the house of their dreams."
