Half House: Toronto House Illustrates Unusual Solution To Dividing The Assets (PHOTO)

Worried about losing the family home in divorce? We may have found your solution.

So what's the real story behind this unusual home? Over on the site blogTO, Chris Bateman did some digging and found out that the St. Patrick Street house was once part of a row of six matching properties. Beginning in 1957, a development company began buying the matching properties, but it was never able to secure what's now 54 1/2 St. Patrick. (Click over to blogTO for more on the house's fascinating history.)
