'My Crazy Obsession': Man Flies Barbara Eden Mannequin To Meet Her

A lot of people have fond memories of the sitcom "I Dream of Jeannie." For 50-year-old Greg Cochrane, his love of the show and its star, Barbara Eden, has become an obsession. Enough so that he was spotlighted on "My Crazy Obsession." Greg collects all kinds of classic Hollywood memorabilia, but he has a special place in his heart for Eden's iconic character.

He even has a life-sized mannequinn of Eden that wears her iconic "Jeannie" costume. When Barbara Eden was performing in a play in Kansasy City, Greg packed up his mannequin and headed off from Florida to meet her. Yes, he bought a plan ticket for his mannequin. In total, he sad he spent about $1,000 on the trip, but it was totally worth it.

After all, Eden brought George up on stage at the show where he got to meet and interact with her.

"I’ve waited 46 years to meet you," he told her.

"Well, I’m so happy you did," she responded.

"After all these years of collecting, it’s finally paid off," Greg said. "Just seeing Barbara in person, it’s no longer a fantasy for me. It’s, it’ll always be part of my memory."
