Nicole Eggert Hospitalized After Suffering Injury On 'Splash' Set (UPDATE)

Nicole Eggert Hospitalized

Nicole Eggert was rushed to the hospital after suffering a bad injury on the set of "Splash" on April 18, her rep David Weintraub confirmed to E! News.

The former "Baywatch" star, 41, was pulled from the water by EMTs after "a bad landing," a rep for the ABC show explained. Eggert was hospitalized and released later that day.

"She is currently consulting with a doctor," the rep added.

According to TMZ, who was first to report about Eggert's injury, the actress attempted a dive with multiple backflips, but crashed into the water back first.

But Eggert isn't the only star who has been injured on the "Splash" set.

Katherine Webb was forced to quit the show in the last episode due to a back injury, while Chuy Bravo left after hurting his heel in practice. And although he suffered a ruptured eardrum after performing a dive, extreme skier Rory Bushfield has decided to stay in the competition.

UPDATE: Nicole Eggert has taken to Twitter to clear up some of the rumors surrounding her injury.
