Lauren Graham Talks 'Gilmore Girls' And Kickstarter On 'Watch What Happens: Live' (VIDEO)

Lauren Graham On 'Gilmore Girls' Final Season And Kickstarter

Lauren Graham was certainly happy about NBC's pickup of "Parenthood" for a full 22-episode fifth season. She couldn't stop smiling and laughing during her appearance on "Watch What Happens: Live," where she charmed the heck out of host Andy Cohen.

She covered a lot of ground during their chat, recalling when she lived with Connie Britton during their struggling-actor years and had late-night Rice Krispie treat binges, and even apologizing -- sort of -- to fans of "Gilmore Girls" for the show's uneven final season.

"I feel like we did the best we could without the original creator of the show, but it would’ve been different, ya know, with her," she admitted.

And while she said she'd love to be able to announce a "Gilmore" movie, she hasn't heard from series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino about it. After the success of "Veronica Mars" on Kickstarter, though, there's obviously been a lot of interest from the fan community.

She did offer up a diffferent Kickstarter idea, though. "Here’s my goal in these 22 episodes, is that Sarah Braverman gets a bed that’s not a pull-out bed," she said of Season 5. "Let’s start a campaign. Let’s start a Kickstarter to get Sarah a bed!"

Graham has certainly been keeping busy -- even without a "Gilmore Girls" movie in the works. She just published her debut novel, "Someday, Someday, Maybe." And, of course, she'll be back in the fall with new episodes of "Parenthood."

Catch new episodes of "Watch What Happens: Live" every Sunday through Thursday at 11 p.m. ET on Bravo.
