Blue Ivy Carter got a taste of stardom this weekend when she held hands with her mother Beyonce on the stage of London's O2 Arena in the middle of a sold-out show.
The one-year-old daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z made an appearance at the end of Bey's performance of her hit song, "Irreplaceable." Carter was wearing a light-colored dress and large protective headphones to shield the youngster from the loud noises of the stage. At the 5:45 mark in the video above, Carter can be seen briefly holding hands with Beyonce before being carried away.
The notoriously private 31-year-old singer has kept her child largely out of the limelight. Pictures of Carter are far and few between, with the most video footage of the baby included as a part of the Beyonce-controlled "Life is But a Dream" documentary about the singer on HBO.
"I am very protective,” Beyonce said in a recent interview with ABC News. “I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life … in the back of my mind, she’s my priority. And life is completely different now. So I’m — I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love, and now have a way bigger meaning. And that’s to be her mother.”
Beyonce is currently in the midst of her international Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. The singer has concerts booked in major cities including Berlin, Stockholm, London, Los Angeles, and Chicago, before wrapping the tour in Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Aug. 5.
UPDATE: A rep for Beyonce told E! News that the child is not Blue Ivy.
