While many people all-too-familiar with headaches know that certain foods can trigger pain, there are actually some foods that help prevent headaches.
You don't have to look much farther than the fresh produce section of the grocery store. Many fruits and veggies offer anti-inflammatory properties, which can help suppress the pain, registered dietitian Joy Bauer said on a recent appearance on "The Doctors".
Hydration is also important in the battle against headaches, Bauer says in the video above, so she recommends making ginger tea, which delivers water and an anti-inflammatory.
