One Direction fans, rejoice! The boy band has reportedly completed work on an upcoming album.

Singer Ed Sheeran, who has penned songs for the teen wonders, spoke to MTV about One Direction's latest album, due out later this year.

"I haven't done any songs on this one; I've actually kind of cut myself from giving any people songs at the moment, because I want to make my album," Sheeran told MTV. "Once my album's done, then we'll see. But their album is already finished."

MTV added that a representative from Columbia Records claims that the members of One Direction are "still very much working on their new album."

Made up of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson, One Direction released its last album, "Take Me Home" in November 2012. The record was hugely successful for the group, hitting No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and going multi-platinum.

In an interview last month, Tomlinson told the UK's Daily Star that the band's third studio album will be out by December. "We’ve been writing and recording it while on tour," Tomlinson told the publication. "We are really happy with it. We don’t want to rush it but it will be out for Christmas."
