'All-Star Celebrity Apprentice': In Surprise Move, Trump Eliminates Two Contestants (VIDEO)

'Celebrity Apprentice': Trump Fires Two, Leaving Final Two

In a strange move, Donald Trump fired two contestants at the top of the episode on "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice." This mean that the final two would compete both this week and in next week's finale.

"Penn has really been the star so far, and I really do want to see him in the final. Lisa, you’re fired," Trump first told Lisa Rinna.

Later, he said, “I think you are absolutely fantastic, Lil Jon. But, you’re fired.” Rolling Stone thought these firings were "inexplicable," wondering why Lil Jon and Lisa weren't allowed to compete one last time.

Their departure left Trace Adkins and Penn Jillette as the last men standing, going head-to-head in next week's live finale. Maybe Trump wanted to be able to focus on the two he knew would be the finalists to help him focus on the tougher decision -- which of them should win.

They brought back some of the favorites from the season for their challenge this week, but which man deserves to win it all? And which celebrities will pop up next season. If Donald Trump is to be believed, NBC has renewed the show, though it's not on their recently announced schedule for 2013-14 -- at least not yet.

Tune in to the "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice" finale next Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
