Reddit's Ad Sales Pitch Revealed

Reddit bills itself to users as the "front page of the internet," but to advertisers, its pitch is much more thorough -- and meme-heavy -- as revealed when Digiday uncovered its sales deck online.

In a 15-slide presentation called "reddit secret plan for world domination," starring Grumpy Cat and written in a distinctly webby tone, Reddit makes the case that its users are among the most engaged and influential on the internet.

HuffPost Live host Abby Huntsman was joined Friday by Conversocial CEO Joshua March to break down the pitch.

"Not every brand is going to want to advertise on Reddit, and I think they've reflected that by doing a pitch deck which is going to really speak to the people who feel a part of that Reddit community," March told Huntsman.
